Today I am packing for Scout camp. It will be my second trip this month. I'll be camping again next week and then twice more in November.
Thankfully, I enjoy camping and I have all the supplies I need to make the weekend comfortable and enjoyable. I'm also pretty good at lugging all my own supplies and setting up my own tent all by myself.
But if you'd told high school me that I would someday be a mother of 4 boys, homeschooling them, and spending at least one weekend a month out sleeping in a tent at Scout camp.....I would have laughed in your face.
Me???? Camping out in the woods???? Without a curling iron? Crazy.
